Fife Inter Faith Group

The Fife inter faith group meets quarterly in Fife House, Glenrothes. The membership comprises Buddhists, Baha'is, Christians, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Muslims, Brahma Kumari and Hindus.The group has an Executive Committee, an approved constitution and receives support from Fife Fire & Rescue Service, Fife Council and FRAE Fife.

Events

We have held a variety of events including an awareness raising event in November 2006 and a visit to places of worship in May 2007 and November 2009.  For Scottish Inter Faith Week in November 2007 we had a combined theme of young people and the environment which involved Fife Primary Schools in a competition and we held an exhibition in Adam Smith College, Kirkcaldy. We include a picture of one of our events, an Inter Faith debate held at Fife Constabulary in May 2008. In 2010 we will be working in partnership with SIFC staff to host the Annual Networking Seminar for local inter faith groups.
